This plasmid contains LamA, which is a response regulator used in E. coli. In our project, we were designing a two-component system, with a histidine kinase and response regulator. If there is a change in the environment that the histidine kinase sense, the response regulator will act in response to it and express GFP. It contains a scaffold protein that will give a positive result in the two component system without a ligand present.
